Kitridding Farm has
been farmed by our family for the last 50 years. As with many
other upland farms we have chosen to diversify by marketing our
own beef and lamb. We started this in November 1999 through
local Farmer's Markets and Mail Order and eventually opened our
own shop on the farm in May 2002.
Along with our own produce we are
marketing other produce from neighbouring and local farming
families who also have extremely high quality goods to offer but
are not always in a position to market it themselves. From the
outset we have been amazed at the vast range of local food and
drink that is available and we are adding new lines as we hear
about them.
Our shop prides itself on local
produce, which in turn offers our customers quality with full
traceability. A local shop full of local produce for local
people and visitors with a mail order and local delivery service
for those further afield who are unable to visit us. |
